Podcast & RSS Feed

What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an easy and free way to get updated information about your favorite websites (like Crosspointe Baptist Church!) even when you are not on our website.
What do I need to subscribe?
To use RSS, you'll need to use an RSS reader — a program that provides a real-time interface to the feeds you select. RSS readers come in all sizes and shapes. Some are web-based; the newest versions of IE and Firefox have RSS readers built-in. We recommend an excellent free RSS reader called FeedDemon but Crosspointe's RSS feeds should work with any reader using the standard XML-based format including Newzcrawler, Google Reader, Bloglines or NewsGator.
How do I subscribe to Crosspointe's RSS feeds?
Simply right-click on the Crosspointe "RSS" button below and select "copy shortcut" or "copy link location." (Using a Mac? Click and hold or control-click instead of right-clicking.) Go to your news reader of choice, paste the link into the relevant spot and you're set! You will be instantly updated whenever a new blog, news or sermon is live on our webpage.
What is a Podcast?
A Podcast is simply an RSS feed with the addition of MP3 "attachments" that are automatically uploaded by your "podcast-client." You can automatically receive the latest Crosspointe Sermons once they are uploaded to the site!
What do I need to subscribe?
Most popular RSS Readers listed above will give you the option to download the latest sermons if you are subscribed to Crosspointe's RSS Feeds. Ideally, Podcasts are best capitalized if using popular client/players such as Apple's iTunes/iPod.
How do I subscribe to Crosspointe's Podcast?
If you do not have Apple iTunes/iPod, simply sign up for Crosspointe's RSS feed above and download directly to your computer when alerted of a new sermon.
